DRIFT I & II
26X26"
Acrylic on Canvas
In Drift, I explore the fluidity and rhythm found in the unseen currents that shape both nature and our inner emotional landscapes. The piece is a visual meditation on movement without force, a gentle surrender to flow. Inspired by petals caught in a breeze or sea flora swaying with the tide, the overlapping brushstrokes and tonal layers in shades of blue evoke a sense of weightless motion, like breath suspended in time.
Movement is not always loud or linear. Sometimes, it is soft, cyclical, and continuous. Through this work, I invite the viewer to pause and feel the quiet dance of transformation, an ebb and flow that mirrors our own constant evolution.
This painting becomes a still frame of motion itself, capturing a moment that is always on the verge of becoming something else.
